page 37 - Record Store
I don’t typically write these sorts of characters. Kristina appeared a few months ago (she went by Kitty then, but she changes her name, like her hair, often) and she’s becoming a bit of a bigger character in the storyline. It’s one of those odd things, I started this comic and never thought it’d lead to young trendy kids hitting on each other in a record store, but these things happen. I have a feeling it’ll be worth it ;)
Also, if you haven’t read the Wine Hobo story over at Myspace Dark Horse Presents, what are you waiting for? Even Warren Ellis likes it, he says it’s “wonderful and fucked-up”
And also, about music and reading, I highly recommend “Things the Grandchildren Should Know” by Mark Oliver Everett of the Eels. It’s amazing, extremely sad and introspective and funny, something made me laugh on every page, and a few chapters even made me cry.
