page 53 - Did you see the whales?
This is one of my favorite newer pages I’ve drawn. And the next one’s a doozy, too! I’ve been laying out the Weird Fishes graphic novel in InDesign and it’s nearly finished, I’m putting together some sketches and behind-the-scenes stuff right now. I’ll reveal the cover soon as well! So exciting. More on that SOON!

This is going to sound really odd, but I like Bunny’s last word bubble. Just something about its composition sits really well in the panel.
Also, the roses are quite pretty. It makes me sad the the graphic novel(s) will be black and white. I love your watercolor so much! :’(

Thank you! I recently got really good at drawing word bubbles on my tablet. Geekily happy that you noticed.
And yes, it’s a bummer that the book is b/w, but at least the color versions are online. And when I’m famous, we’ll have the full color limited-foil hardcover edition ;)

Oooo, foil! I bet it’ll have a holographic image on the cover too!
