Jamaica Dyer is the creator behind "Weird Fishes", a new graphic novel that you can buy here or here. It's a surreal story about growing up, seeing imaginary things, and finding out how unimaginary they really are.

Weird Fishes

Weird Fishes is my comic that I started publishing online in March 2008. A simple story about a girl who sees imaginary (?) things and a boy in a bunny suit, filled with lots of surrealism and strangeness and painted in watercolor and mixed media. In 2009 the book was collected by SLG into a graphic novel that you can find in many good, indie comic stores. If you haven’t read the story yet, I’ve broken it up (DVD-chapter style) for you to enjoy below, and I highly suggest you start at the beginning:

Wine Hobo

The Nightmare of the Wine Hobo is a short story I did for Myspace Dark Horse Presents. You can read it online here! It’s available in the MSDHP3 graphic novel.
